We currently have an excellent opportunity for a motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our growing organization in our Minneapolis office.  The Marketing Coordinator is responsible to provide support to the Marketing Manager with a range of marketing activities including proposals, pre-qualifications, project tracking, branding/corporate identity program, graphic design, photography, presentations, social media, website, and special events. The primary responsibilities of a Marketing Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible to prepare comprehensive, informative, and graphically appealing proposals (division based) and pre-qualifications (company-wide) per the specifications of the owner, general contractor, or customer.
  • Responsible for initial set up and collecting the content of the “Marketing your Project’ process which includes, updating resumes, and market lists (division based).
  • Responsible for maintaining web and social media sites (division based).
  • Assist with customer database used for mailings and email marketing.
  • Assist the Marketing Department in writing and editing marketing materials including web and social media content, project profiles, resumes, and promotional flyers according to corporate identity standards.
  • Assist the Marketing Department with maintaining the job photo library by coordinating digital photographs taken by Parsons’ staff and external photographers for office displays, monitor loops, social media and websites, RFPs, tradeshow displays, and miscellaneous marketing pieces.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in coordinating company events.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related discipline required. An Associate Degree in Graphic Design is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of marketing experience with construction industry experience preferred.

 

Successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • A basic understanding or interest in developing and tracking reports.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, English usage and punctuation.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with design programs including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred.
  • Moderate graphic design skills - the ability to generate in-house materials.
