MEI is seeking applicants for Apprentice Electricians.  The Apprentice Electrician works directly under the supervision of a qualified Journeyman Electrician and assists in installing or maintaining a variety of wiring methods for distribution of electrical light, heat, power, and signaling utilization systems in existing or new buildings under construction of commercial and industrial occupancies; including street and highway lighting, traffic signal and other outdoor above and below grade installations.

Qualifications:

• Currently working within the electrical field under an approved apprenticeship program.
• Completed one full year (2 semesters) of algebra in High School or one semester of algebra in College or Technical College with a passing grade of “C” or better.
• Must be 18 years of age or older, with proof of the same required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license at time of indenture.

Once candidate is selected, they will be required to contact the North Dakota Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) to continue their apprenticeship program.

Wage Rate:  $12.13 - $22.91 per hour, based on experience
