Moorhead Electric (MEI), a subsidiary of Parsons Electric LLC, is headquartered in Fargo, ND and is a full-service electrical contracting provider, tackling all projects regardless of size or complexity. MEI is seeking applicants to participate in our industry Pre-Apprentice Program.  This program works in cooperation with the IBEW Local 1426 and Dakotas Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) to identify possible candidates who demonstrate an interest in the electrical contracting business.

Once a candidate is selected from our interview process, they will be required to contact the Dakotas JATC to be an applicant for their program prior to being hired.

Applicants with the following education and/or experience preferred, but not required: 

• Hands-on and/or academic electrical experience and knowledge.
• Currently enrolled as a student or graduate of an electrical construction program at a trade school recognized by the ND or MN Department of Labor and Industry;
• Currently enrolled as a student or graduate of a high school vocational program;
• Applicant has demonstrated their interest in the electrical contracting industry by being currently registered with the ND or MN Department of Labor and Industry as being Unlicensed Individual performing electrical work for a non-signatory employer licensed by the ND or MN Department of Labor and Industry as an electrical contractor.

Wage Rate:  $12.13
