We currently have an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Coordinator to join our growing organization in our Minneapolis office.  The Project Coordinator is responsible for job scheduling, quality control, testing/inspections/commissioning reports, overall document control, and client satisfaction activities.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the planning and scheduling of all projects to optimize efficiency of labor and travel costs.
  • Manage travel arrangements to ensure cost effectiveness and timely execution of scheduled projects.
  • Manage the development, delivery, and execution of all testing/inspection documentation including both field documents and final documents to customer.
  • Perform design activities of each project as assigned to achieve performance for quantity and quality of work.
  • Perform drafting duties for the preparation of drawings and specifications required for construction documents, project close-out documents, presentation and promotional information and other material and duties as assigned.
  • Assure accuracy of work assigned through redlined prints or written description.
  • Perform administrative payroll duties including the tracking of field hours by employee, rates, and monthly totals and distributing data to Payroll.
  • Assist with the execution, distribution, and tracking of vendor Master Service Agreements including all applicable Scope of Work assignments.
  • Prepare, duplicate, and distribute Operation and Maintenance manuals.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Follow all guidelines, policies and procedures established by the company.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:  High School Diploma required with trade or college degree in drafting, electrical design, or electrical engineering preferred.

 

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Ability to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
