Parsons Electric is seeking applicants to participate in our industry Pre-Apprentice Program.  This program works in cooperation with the IBEW Local and Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) to identify possible candidates who demonstrate an interest in the electrical contracting business.

Once a candidate is selected from our interview process, they will be required to contact the JATC to be an applicant for their program prior to being hired.

Applicants with the following education and/or experience preferred, but not required:  

• Hands-on and/or academic electrical experience and knowledge.
• Currently enrolled as a student or graduate of an electrical construction program at a trade school recognized by the MN Department of Labor and Industry;
• Currently enrolled as a student or graduate of a high school vocational program;
• Referred by the Building Minnesota apprenticeship program;  OR
• Applicant has demonstrated their interest in the electrical contracting industry by being currently registered with the MN Department of Labor and Industry as being Unlicensed Individual performing electrical work for a non-signatory employer licensed by the MN Department of Labor and Industry as an electrical contractor.
