We currently have an excellent opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our growing organization in our Minneapolis office.  The primary responsibilities of a Warehouse Specialist include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving: Receive all material deliveries for electrical, electrical prefab, technologies, technologies prefab and the office. Organize and accurately store received materials in the warehouse and communicate receipt of materials to the appropriate individuals or departments.
•  Shipping: Responsible for all material deliveries, UPS shipping, couriers, rental pickups and semi-trailer deliveries. All deliveries made from the fabrication shops are in coordination with the tool department to determine the best method of delivery.
• Warehouse: Organization of materials and re-stock inventory items.
• Operate forklift efficiently in the warehouse for material management.
• Maintain professionalism with co-workers, customers, subcontractors, vendors, project managers, office and field staff.
• Provide work direction to summer helpers or light duty employees to accomplish various tasks.
• Follow all guidelines, policies and procedures established by the company.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent required with an associate’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• Experience:  Minimum five (5) years of warehouse experience.

Successful candidate will possess:

• Good knowledge of electrical construction industry.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
• Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
